After the Rain Again

We used to crave rain here in Southern California but after 3 months of off-and-on rain almost every week, most people are tired of rain. I’m not. Rain helps me not worry about watering my plants in the morning. It also made the soil easy to dig for transplanting and for pulling weeds.

In my garden, there are many plants waking up from their slumber. I saw leaf buds forming. This is my favorite part of spring, which is to see that I didn’t kill any plants last fall! Spring is a new beginning.

Speaking of new beginning, I read Bible verses Ephesians 6:10 -11 the other day and the correlation is that we should have a new beginning each day by renewing our strength, putting on the armor of God so that we can withstand our troubles. The verses below state it better:

Ephesians 6:10-11

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.”

I will end by leaving you with some of my favorite garden pictures this week.
